About

A Brief History of Our Chapter

Our Chapter was first founded in 1953 as Beta Alpha Epsilon (B.A.E.). In 1964, with the help of B.A.E. Brother David R. Foust '61 and Phillip Morris, District Chief of the 17th District of Beta Theta Pi, our chapter became the Delta Eta Chapter of Beta Theta Pi. Our chapter thrived until the late 1990s when our membership started to diminish. In 2005, our chapter was shut down due to a lack of membership. In 2008, with the help of our alumni and the Administrative Office (Beta Theta Pi's National Office), our chapter was started back up. In 2011 we got our charter back and became a full member of Beta Theta Pi once again. Since then our chapter has continued to grow under fantastic leadership and the wonderful bonds of brotherhood. Our chapter is currently led by a nifty executive team of nine. To see a more indepth history of our chapter, please refer to the Delta Eta History page.
